Frame Five Media

Let’s make your business look as good as it already is.

Photography, video, design and websites for businesses where the owner is the brand. Shot, cut, designed and built under one roof, so everything you put in front of a customer looks like it came from the same place.

20 years behind the camera

What we make

Five disciplines, one studio

Most jobs need more than one of these. You brief it once, and it is carried from the shoot to the finished page here — so nothing gets lost being passed between vendors.

  1. Photography

Your space, your team and your work, shot in available light. Culled hard and delivered edited — not a hard drive of raw files for you to sort out.

Crew braces a large pipe section as a crowd watches behind.
A DJ at the mixer against a lit green screen backdrop
A performer stands alone on stage with an acoustic guitar.
Seen from behind the seated crowd, hands raised toward the LAUNCH screen.
A woman in olive holds the framed proclamation before a painted mural.
  2. Video

From a one-camera interview to multi-day event coverage. Planned, shot and cut in the same place, so nothing gets lost in a handover.

  3. Graphic design

Logos, menus, signage, packaging and print files built to survive contact with a real printer, a real feed and a real deadline. Multi-year Reader’s Choice Award winner in graphic design, St. Catharines Standard.

Everything below is the file as it was delivered. Printed pieces sit with the jobs they were made for — open Black Music Brunch or Pizza Di Nonna and the artwork is in the set beside the photographs of it in use.

Four guests break up laughing in front of the backdrop.
Full-length portrait; the repeating gold wordmark fills the frame.
Two guests in black and cream at the step-and-repeat.
Nine guests crowd into a single frame at the backdrop.
Five guests shoulder to shoulder, balloon clusters at both edges.
Two guests posed together, wordmark repeating behind them.
A couple clowning mid-pose, one leg kicked up.
Three guests raise a drink toward the camera.
The Black Music Brunch menu: the gold ornamental Black Music Brunch lettering on cracked black slate, MENU spaced across a fork, a microphone and a glass of wine, with passed canapés on the left and mains on the right.

  4. Web design

Sites that load fast on a phone, read clearly at arm’s length, and stay easy to update after we hand them over.

  5. AI

Generated stills and generated motion, and an exhibition behind it — Maybe Might Matter, which explores creativity and technology through representation and intersectionality. Used where it earns its place in the work, never instead of a camera.

Everything on this site is work we made

No stock, no mock-ups, nobody else’s portfolio. Every photograph, film and website below was made for a real client, and all of it is published here in full rather than as a highlight reel.

What you would get

Four ways to work with us

Almost every enquiry turns out to be one of these. Each one lists what is included and what is not, so you can rule three of them out before you even write to us.

8–14 weeks

Launching something new

The whole visible business, built once and built properly.

  • Identity
  • Web build
  • Photography
  • Video
  • Content kit

What is included

  • Identity system and the written rules that keep it from drifting
  • Website designed and built here — not handed to a developer
  • A photography library shot for your brand, not stock
  • One hero film with vertical cutdowns
  • A 90-day content kit so launch week is not the last good week

What is not

  • Ad spend and media buying
  • Print production management
  • Legal and trademark work

One schedule, one lead, one invoice

6–10 weeks

Rebuilding what is already there

You have a business that works and a brand that no longer matches it.

  • Identity
  • Web build
  • Photography

What is included

  • An audit of what is actually costing you enquiries
  • Identity refresh that keeps the equity you have built
  • Rebuilt site, migrated without losing your search position
  • A fresh photography set for the pages that convert

What is not

  • A full rename or repositioning
  • Ad spend
  • Ongoing content — that is a retainer

Phased so you never go dark

Rolling, reviewed quarterly

Keeping content coming every month

The part most studios will not hold: the month after launch, and the one after that.

  • Photography
  • Video
  • Design
  • Site maintenance

What is included

  • An agreed asset cadence you can plan around
  • Site updates and maintenance held here
  • A standing planning call
  • One address to email when something breaks

What is not

  • A new website build
  • Community management and replying to comments
  • Ad spend

A fixed allocation of production days each month

2–5 weeks

One project, clearly scoped

A single piece of work with a start and an end.

  • Pick one: identity, photography, video or web

What is included

  • One clearly defined deliverable
  • A fixed price agreed before we start
  • Two rounds of revisions

What is not

  • Ongoing support after delivery
  • Work we cannot hold after launch
  • Hourly design tickets

Fixed scope, fixed price

How it works

Three steps, and you always know which one you are in

No mystery and no radio silence. This is what happens after you get in touch — every time, whatever the job is.

  1. We agree the job

A call, then a written scope: what the work has to do, who it is for, exactly what lands in your hands, and when. All settled before anyone opens a camera bag or a blank file.

  2. We do the work

The shoot, the build, the design pass. On location we travel light and stay out of the way — your event keeps happening whether we are ready or not, and interrupting it is not the job.

  3. You get it clean

Culled, edited, colour-corrected and sized for wherever it is actually going. Files you can use the same day, named so you can still find them next year.

Dream big, we’ve got the strategy to match.

Before you write to us

Questions we get asked a lot

What does it cost?

That depends on what the work has to do, and we would rather scope it than quote you a number you cannot rely on. Tell us what you are planning and you will get a fixed price in writing, agreed before anything starts — not an hourly rate that grows.

How long does it take?

One clearly scoped project runs 2–5 weeks. Rebuilding a brand and site that already exist takes 6–10 weeks. Launching something new, end to end, is 8–14 weeks. Ongoing monthly work is rolling and reviewed every quarter.

Who actually turns up on the day?

Whoever you have been briefing, plus the crew the job needs. You will know who is coming before the day rather than meeting them in your reception.

We already have a website. Do we have to start over?

No. A rebuild starts with an audit of what is actually costing you enquiries, keeps the brand equity you have built, and migrates the site without losing the search position you already hold. Starting over is a different, longer job, and we will tell you if you genuinely need it.

Do you do ongoing work, or only one-off projects?

Both. The month after launch — and the one after that — is the part most studios will not hold, and it is what the ongoing arrangement exists for: a fixed allocation of production days each month, a standing planning call, and one address to email when something breaks.

What do you not do?

Ad spend and media buying, community management and replying to comments, print production management, legal and trademark work, and hourly design tickets. If that is what you need, you will hear it in the first conversation rather than three weeks in.

Four names, one practice

These are not clients — they are the other names this work goes out under. Weddings and events, teaching photography, and an AI-art exhibition. Frame Five is the front door; the rest is where twenty years of Saturdays went.

We keep it off the page because harvesters read pages. Press the button and it appears — or just use the form, which reaches the same inbox and tells us more.

Thank you — that reached the studio. You will get a reply, including if the answer is that we are not the right shop for it.
