Terms of use
The rules of this website
Short and in plain English, because a page nobody can read is not a protection. These terms cover this website. They are not the contract for a piece of work, that is agreed separately, in writing, and it wins wherever the two ever disagree.
Who this is between
“We” and “us” mean Frame Five Media, which operates this website. “You” means anyone reading it. Using the site means these terms apply to that use. If you would rather they did not, the remedy is simple: close the tab and email us instead, atShow email address.
What this site is, and is not
It is a portfolio and a way to start a conversation. Nothing on it is an offer, a quote, or a promise of availability, price or turnaround. Descriptions of how we work are how we intend to work, not terms you can hold us to before there is an engagement. An engagement exists only once it has been agreed in writing on both sides.
The work shown here
The photographs, moving-image credits and design shown here were made on real jobs. Copyright in them, and in the writing and code of this site, stays with us or with the party who holds it under the relevant job agreement. Client names, marks and logos belong to those clients and appear here as credits, not as endorsements, and not as a claim to any right in them.
You may link to any page here, and you may quote a short passage with attribution. You may not copy, re-publish, re-upload, resell or train a model on the images or text without written permission first. Ask, the answer is often yes, and it costs you one email.
Using the site
Please do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to this site or the systems behind it, scrape it at volume, or use the contact routes on it to send bulk or unsolicited mail. Automated submissions to the forms are filtered and discarded.
Getting something wrong put right
Everything factual on this site is written from records we hold, and we keep it accurate in good faith. If you are named or shown here and something is wrong, or you would simply rather not be, write toShow email address and it will be corrected or taken down. That request does not need a reason.
Links away from here
Some links leave this site, to the other practices the same operator works under, and to clients. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for what is on them.
Availability
This site is published as it is. We do not guarantee it is always reachable, error-free, or that any part of it stays in place. Pages get rewritten and work gets rotated out.
Where our responsibility ends
Nothing on this site is professional, legal, financial or technical advice for your situation. To the fullest extent the applicable law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, this website. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not permit us to limit, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Changes
These terms can change. The version published on this page is the one in force, and continuing to use the site after a change means the new version applies.
