One visit, one small retail room: a bamboo-slat feature wall carrying a logo reading DEKE, dark plank floors, tall sash windows, chrome racks and white two-tier tables. Spring goods in chalky blue, coral, sand and navy. The photographer was solving mixed light, daylight through glass against a warm reflective wall, and holding verticals clean in a room too shallow to back out of.
