OVO Fest
OVO Fest is Drake's festival, Toronto, August, running since 2010 and built on guest spots nobody announces. This is a night of it from the stage and the floor: performers working the barrier, a run of one-song appearances, and a room of raised phones. Concert light is the hardest brief there is. You cannot add any, it changes colour every eight bars, and the only thing between a usable frame and a black one is knowing when the wash breaks. Shot wide open and fast, colour left where it fell.
