A one-day association conference covered end to end: arrivals through the concourse, the exhibitor floor, the hands-on crew work on the marked floor ringed by spectators, then the evening function after dark. The photographer was solving mixed light, a bright, flat convention hall against a dim blue-lit room, and a work area walled in by onlookers, which meant shooting past bodies to keep the crews readable.
