Honey Jam, in conversation, El Mocambo

A talk, not a gig, no instruments, no stage set, no band. The job was arrivals: a red carpet laid on the public sidewalk under the El Mocambo's lit canopy, a Honey Jam step-and-repeat wall inside, then a near-black room with chairs, a screen and two armchairs. Three lighting worlds in one assignment, open shade, flash on white, a dark auditorium. The photographer had to keep the wall moving and still make the room.

A talk, not a gig. No instruments in frame.
